ESP article with live trace image

I read an article about some of the history of eastern state penitentiary. In the article it talks about how the prison ran for over 100 years and now it is starting to crumble. In the article it also named some of its famous inmates such as the well known Al Capone whoes cell is still decorated. The prison is located in fairmount philadelphia. It also talks about how at one time it was the most expensive building in America and now it sits and crumbles. The article was by Mike Walsh

LAST PHOTOSHOP PROJECT!

This is the image i used from the web on eastern state penitentiary
Then the original picture that i used to create the new picture that i took myself.
Then for the image that i fooled around with i made it look kind of creepy like indeed the penitentiary is creepy so i gave it that certain look that gives you the eerie feeling.

original-refined-remasterd

1)This is my image before i did anything with it. I used the gargoils as my figures , the wall with the vine on it as my foreground and everything else is the backround!
2) in the second image i was able to refine it a bit by lowering the brightness and the contrast.
3) this one i played around with and used the selective tool to pick different areas to do different things with! I did this because my topic is the eatsern state penitentiary and with its stone and sad look you can do alot with it so this proves that you are able to make something not so cheerful look alot better than it did and make it more interesting than someone would think when they look at the ESP in person.

Pictures from ESP!
Topic
My topic is going to be about the eastern state penitentiary.
This is one of the many beautiful sites that we are able to see while at moore.
I find that run down things are the most beautiful.
And i love the fact that while im here i have the opportunity to use it to paint or photograph
and just to enjoy. It is my favorite building in Philadelphia

Life at moore
Life at moore so far has been such an experience. I fell like I have experienced so much in so little time. I'v always had a hard time with being shy when I first meet people. Yet, i have already made a good group of friends that I know i may have for the rest of my life. I think that as classes start it will just make my experience grow more. I will be able to be doing what i love to do from day to day and learning knew things and having my mind opened to different things. I hope the rest of the year goes how things are going now.
